For sale , A Fleischmann 135/2 live steam engine from my personal collection ,This is the largest steam engine Fleischmann made. this live steam engine is in very good condition w/ only a few light scratches or scuff marks,given the age it is well above average condition, it runs as good as it looks, it has a quite large 4 7/8" x 3/4" flywheel, the boiler is approx 3 1/4" round x 9 3/16 long , an oiler on the back of the piston housing, the base is a massive 16 1/2" x 14 1/2", it still has the original 3 head spirit burner That runs it very well & provides plenty of heat to make her run, has original chimney,& 2 whistle handles...the original Bakelite one & an exact copy made out of oak that you can actually use (the Bakelite handle gets so hot it gets soft) it has a line & then gear driven Governor that Fleischmann does a better job of making than most steam companies. & a boiler drain valve on the front lower part of the boiler. This engine will be package extremely well by a "Steamer" who knows the disappointment of a poorly packaged engine, boiler will be emptied & engine ran through with compressed air to get all the moisture out of the engine & boiler. please view my feedback & .
