This is a wonderful old FLEMISH ART CO. Carved Wooden Box. The box has a beautiful floral carved design and it appears to be hand done. The bottom has carved design/logo of 2 bears holding a crest. It reads "FLEMISH ART CO, TRADE MARK, FLEMISH QUALITY 681, IS STANDARD, NEW YORK." Box measures approximately: 4" in width, 11-1/2" in length, 2-1/2" in height. These boxes were manufactures from 1900-1940's. THIS VERY HARD TO COME BY FLEMISH ART DECO BOX IS IN VERY GOOD AGE CONDITION, ART DECO WITH AGED BRASS HARDWARE, FRONT LATCH HAS A BALL SWING LATCH, BEAUTIFUL HAND WORKED ART DECO FLORAL DESIGN. A WONDERFUL COLLECTIBLE DECORATIVE VINTAGE BOX WITH MANY USES!
