Continental 1886 Silverplate These beautiful forks are marked as above, t are 4 of them, they are 6 inches long. They are in a wonderful vintage case with a ribbon marked W.M.Chamberlain Jeweler, Minneapolis, Minn. The box appears to be leather over wood on the outside, and on the inside is red satin gatd on the lid and a padded satin covering on the bottom. (Oddly, not unlike a coffin.) The box is clearly very old and the leather has cracks and small peels on the top. The forks are what we call oyster forks, I have seen them called seafood forks, t may be other names for them. They have a cute fleur de lis pattern on them, no monogram. They are in good shape and need to be polished. Please see our other items and save on combined shipping, we are happy to combine shipping.
