Up for auction is a really nice flight helmet, probably used in the Iraq war. The helmet has a cool tape pattern, looks like the squadron mascot on the front and a apache with helicopter on the left and right side of helmet. On the back it appears to be his call sign " Hi-Tech". The aircraft on the sides looks like a Blackhawk helicopter, someone mentioned an apache helicopter. I didn't think they used apache helicopters in the Navy or in the Marines, could be wrong. Along the edging is velcro, so at one time this helmet had a camo cover utilized on it. That's how I considered it to be combat worn. The helmet is probably medium to large and it fits my melon, no Id tag. The helmet has a dark and clear visor and they operate very well, it is custom fit. Only thing is, t is no microphone, and electronics. I have seen them on ebay, so this helmet can be completed if desired. Such a nice helmet, I found it at a show, the price was right and such a nice tape job, I couldn't resist.
