I have been told by a knowledgeable friend that this cruet is flint glass. It stands approx 6 3/4 inches tall and has 6 sides and so does the matching stopper. The two sides w the handle is attached are plain, the two front sides have an elaborate wheel cut design and the other two sides have a more modest version of the design. The stopper has dots on 3 sides and a small version of the design on the cruet. The stopper is rough on the end that fits into the cruet, it may have been longer or that may be the way it was made. T are lots of chips on the inner lip of the opening from the stopper being placed inside. T is roughness on most of the rim below the handle and on each of the points on that rim. The glass has some sun purple and the inside is cloudy. All of that said, it is still a pretty little cruet, I just did not want you to have any surprises when it arrived. Some pictures are taken without flash.
