BUICK FACTORY Interior , real photo postcard by unidentified photographer, ca. 1910. This outstanding, sharp, detailed real photo postcard shows a crew of auto assembly workers posed on and around a partially assembled vehicle inside the huge Buick Factory at Flint, Michigan , around 1910. The partially assembled vehicle is either an automobile or a light truck, with what appears to be a four-cylinder in-line engine. From all the historical Buick photographs I have checked, this appears to be about a 1910 vehicle. Some of you Flint and Buick historians can probably identify the model and vehicle year more accurately. Stacks of engine blocks and cylinders fill the background. This appears to be a professionally made photograph. The posing is superb, and the exposure, focus, and printing are about perfect. Someone named Ray Ewing has practiced his signature in pencil on reverse, and BUICK CITY is also penciled on the back of the postcard. An extremely fine real photo postcard! Flint is in Genesee County . Postally unused, divided back, 3 3/8" x 5 3/8". AZO stamp box (points up) dates postcard to 1907-1918. Great ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: eBay friend Gerry has written with some hery helpful information about this real photo postcard. Gerry worked at Buick for 25 years and is now retired. He reports, "The postcard you have showing the read more
