This is a RARE Original Hand Painted, One-Of-A-Kind Production Art Cell. It is signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera. It comes with a Hanna-Barbera Animation Art Certificate of Authenticity. To create this production art,a process known as ink and paint is applied toeither acetateor celluloid. Inking,the printing pf blackoutlines, is generally done by photocopier. Painting color within theese outlines is done by hand. The finishedproduction artis then placed over a backround and photographed. Everysinglemovement the character makes,down tothe blinkof an eye,requires a separate cell to bephotographed. Since theese movements are sominute,they often require their own layer of acetate which can be removed and applied at the photographer's discretion.This allows the remaining layersof the artwork to be reused for other parts of the production.Tfore, each finished pieceof production art may have one ormore layers of acetate and is considered to be a one-of-a-kind work of art. This production cell is entitled "I Yabba Dabba Do" This PRODUCTION cell was prouced in HOLLYWOOD, California. I paid $700 for this item over 15 years ago, the price tag is still on the back of the framed picture. The picture measures16.5" X 19.5" and is professionally matted and framed. This Production Cell is numbered YD 0144. It is signed by David Kirschner, Chairman & CEO of Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc. ALSO, It still has the "Art Guard Registration Application" attached to the Certificate. Obviuosly, Ineversent it in. I have a large personal collection of Annimation Cells, Sports memorabilia (mainly hockey Orr/Lemieux), Horse Racing and Beer Cans. I am slowly listing a wide variety of things on Ebay.
