This doll has the name Floradora on the back of her shoulder head. There is an empty lozenge symbol and the following printing 'A 2 1/2 M, Floradora, DRG M37?830 /37801, Made in Germany'. There are no marks from a reproducer. Doll has a curly blonde wig, fixed blue spun glass eyes, open mouth with four teeth, dimple in chin. Feathered eyebrows and eyelashes are well painted. Cheeks soft rosy colour. This head looks original . If it is repro it is very well done. Body is clearly repro, but well made. Lower limbs are bisque, waisted body is covered in strong calico. Good condition, lovely doll. Doll is wearing pretty well made lace trimmed peach coloured silk dress with matching bonnet, long pants, petticoat, stockings and leather shoes.
