I am selling this figurine for my Mother. Times are tough for her and the money is needed. This originally belonged to my Great Grand Mother. Beautiful vintage Florence Ceramics of Pasadena California figurine - "Fairlady" She stands about 11 1/4" tall and is about 8" wide (at the tallest & widest points). The colors in the pictures are true and not distorted. The figurine is very detailed and elegant. Rose pink gown with raised white lace down the front, all fringed with gold paint. I believe it was produced in the late 40's or early 50's....most likely 50's. This one must be very rare to come across, I can't find another one for sale anyw on the internet. I did come across an identical Fairlady that sold for $800.00 in 2006. That's all, it is even difficult to find a picture of her online. Her book value about 8 years ago was $1,300.00 per an antique appraiser. The base of the figurine is maker stamped and also artist signed "BB" in gold. T is also a capital letter "R" etched into the bottom. One piece of raised rounded dress lace is broken off on her left bust. She was previously broken at the waist and professionally repaired at a shop in Andover, NY about 40 years ago. The hairline crack and repair will not show up when photographed, I tried. Shipping is a flat $22.00 via USPS Priority Mail, insurance included in the read more
