FOUR STUNNING HAZEL ATLAS FLORENTINE NO. 2 "POPPY NO.2" YELLOW DEPRESSION GLASS LARGE 5" - 9 OUNCES FOOTED TUMBLERS Up for auction and offered without reserve are 4 beautiful yellow Depression glass footed tumblers in the Florentine No. 2 or "Poppy No. 2" pattern made by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 - 1935. Large footed tumblers measure 5" high, 3 1/4" across the top opening and 2 1/2" across the base. All four tumblers are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, rough edges or cloudiness. These tumblers are very hard to part with as they are perfect for the dining table. Tumblers are illustrated in Gene Florence's Depression Glass Collector's Encyclopedia - Fifteenth Edition 2002 and at that time had a book value of $35.00U.S. EACH! Tumblers are a lovely shade of yellow and the pictures don't do them justice. These pieces are not easily acquired in sets so don't let this auction pass you by! I have another set of four tumblers in this size which I plan to list after this auction ends.
