This is a great find. Fresh from a recent south Florida estate sale comes this Florida oil on canvas board painting. It is unsigned but I was told that it was done by Paul Turner Sargent in the early 1900s as he visited Florida in 1917 and 1918 as the dates on the back of the painting. It is rare to find any of his work in Florida as he mainly lived in Illinois, he painted some of his Florida paintings while visiting his father who lived in Florida from the late 1800s until 1930s. It is in great shape as you can see in the picture, I took a lot of pictures to show condition. all original, it comes from a very clean non smoking house. The painting without the frame measures 9" x 12". Check out my other items ! Payment Please make a payment via one of the following methods: PayPal or cash on pickup.
