This pamphlet for auction, a "SPECIAL EDITION" of "FLORIDA'S FINANCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL RECORD" from January 8, 1910, is very interesting and regales the trials & tribulations and dreams & schemes of some early Tampa Real Estate developers. Specifically, Tampa Real Estate developers Hendry and Knight and the business called the Tampa Bay Land Company. This booklet/pamphlet is rather large. It is 10 by 13 3/4 inches and contains 24 printed pages. It is in really good condition with only the front and back covers having just a touch of barely visible foxing. T are a couple small tears on the front cover (the largest is 1/2 of an inch) & on a couple interior pages (the largest is 1/4 of an inch). No ink or pencil on any page. This booklet contains printed photos of early Tampa including one panoramic "View of South Tampa Gardens Taken From the Turrets of the Tampa Bay Hotel". This booklet is written and presented as a newspaper, with advertisements and articles and photos, only the articles contained tin are not bylined. The ads are related to: whiskies, beer & spirits, hotels, machinery, medicine, jewelry, lumber, naval stores, banks, agriculture, and whatever other advertisers that the Florida's Financial and Industrial Record could garner with it's quote "An Unvarnished Tale of Florida as it is" read more
