This auction is for a very old antique, completely handsewn, (hand-stitched, hand-quilted) Feed/Flour sack String Quilt cutter piece. The old quilt from which this came had been lovingly cared for and used for many years. PATTERN: Strings of fabric, each one different, made into Blocks MEASUREMENT: 27" X 18" CONDITION: Some wear spots where fabric has worn apart and frayed, could have a light stain or two, faded in spots, frayed binding edge, but mostly good condition.... still very nice and very well made. This would be wonderful for crafting yesterday's treasures, .... lovingly made by someone's Grandma many many years ago, ........ into today's treasures - wall hangings, pillows, Christmas stockings, decorative stuffed animals, table runners... connecting the past to the present in a most unique way.
