is an old and very neat piece of flow blue... lovely Lobelia pattern featuring large lily flowers all over... gorgeous finial,,, measures 7.5 inches tall and 11 inches diameter... an early piece manufactured on June 19 1845 (info found in the diamond registry mark on the back of the tureen)... base has one under rim chip, and a tight hairline in the bottom edge, one short rim hairline lid has no chips or cracks.. piece has some light staining easily cleaned but a wonderful early display as it is.... a fine early pattern with a gorgeous display.... lots of fine flow blue in our ebay store so please check it out and perhaps find another treasure to combine shipping with...CELEBRATING OUR 10TH YEAR ON EBAY!!!
