This auction is for a Lot of 4 very hard to find Englist Dribble Cups and Saucers, from our personal collection of over 4,000 pieces of willow. Before I get swamped with emails, for those who don't know, a "dribble cup and saucer" was used by the elderly when drinking their tea. The saucers are EXTRA DEEP, like a small soup bowl and if elderly person had shakey hands, the "dribble" would run into the saucer and not overflow. The saucers are 4 1/4" wide and 3/4" deep. The cups are 2" wide and 2 1/4" deep. Marked: "BURLEIGHWARE WILLOW BURSLEM, ENGLAND", Beautiful willow pattern coverage. No chips, crazing, cracks or repairs. Please mail any questions.
