OWN A PIECE OF Extremely RARE Flown Piece of Gemini SPACE EXPLORATION HISTORY This is an Incredibly Rare piece of : Flown John W. Young Shoulder Harness Swatch. This is a piece of the Harness that he wore strapped in alongside Gus Grissom on t Historic Gemini GT-3 "Molly Brown" Space Flight. This flight laid the groundwork for future Missions to the Moon. The "Molly Brown" Flight took Place on March 23, 1965 This "Rare" Piece is encased in an Crystal Clear 1-inch Thick Lucite Holder measuring 3-5/8 x 2-3/4 inches and protected in a Satin Blue Finished hinged display Case that measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/4 inches. Also included is a Display stand if you decide to Display the John W. Young Gemini Piece out from its Protective Case. A Great shot of John Young Inside the "Molly Brown" Spacecraft, Highlights this incredible Display piece. Grissom insisted on naming his spacecraft the 'Molly Brown', following the loss at sea of his first capsule and the Broadway success of the musical 'The Unsinkable Molly Brown'... it was the last time NASA allowed an astronaut to name his spacecraft for a long, long time...Young took a corned-beef sandwich into orbit, as alternative to the dehydrated space 'food' they were supposed to test...this was only discovered when bread crumbs were observed in the capsule during postflight analysis.
