PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE BUY IT NOW AUCTION FOR A 32MM STANDARD (NON-ROUNDED) BLOCK ONLY !!! For sale is a custom made Floyd Rose sustain block. I originally bought one of these to try as I wasn't convinced and thought it was just 'Snake oil' ! You know what guitarists are like. I fitted the block which is a complete doddle to do and re-strung. The difference was palpable ! The guitar seemed much more alive and zinged more when strummed acoustically. When plugged in I had a noticeable increase in sustain and notes seemed to just swell and bloom, you can really feel it under your fingers. As an engineer with over 20 years experience I set about making replicas of this tone block which is what you are looking at now. It is made to the exacting specifications as the original and will retro fit a Floyd with ease. What we have is 13mm thick CZ121 brass stock (That's half an inch in old money) by 50mm by 32mm. 37mm - £16 42mm - £17 (Message me first) Any other size and hole spacings available on request (Like the big Ibanez block pictured) This is a serious hunk of brass people and adds a HUGE amount of mass where it is needed most. The spring holes are also drilled at an angle to secure a firm anchorage when the tremolo bar is used in an upwards movement.
