Fluorescent Fluorite¸ Calcite¸ Dolomite and Muscovite Mica - Location: Yao Guang Xi¸ Hunan Province¸ China. Miniature. we have an interesting "combination" specimen from China. We have a specimen with several gemmy and lustrous purple colored fluorite crystals along with some small white colored dolomite crystals¸ some white platy calcite crystals and a few muscovite crystal aggregates. The fluorite crystals are well formed and sharp and have a nice rich purple color and they are gemmy and have a near glassy luster. The calcite crystals form as stacked platy crystals that are a translucent white color and lustrous. T are also some off-white colored dolomite crystals. T are also some tan colored crystal aggregates of muscovite mica. The fluorite crystals will fluoresce a nice bluish-magenta color and the calcite will fluoresce a reddish-magenta color with SHORT wave ultraviolet light (see photo).
