You are bidding on a beautiful fluorescent thumbnail specimen of Scheelite on Calcite & Quartz Crystal from Yaoganxian Mine, Hunan Province, China. Notice the very nice pseudo-octahedral scheelite crystals that are actually tetragonal dipyramids. Using a shortwave UV lamp, it will fluoresce a brilliant blue/white. It is not fluorescent under longwave UV. Scheelite is a calcium tungstate and is a primary ore of the metal tungsten. It measures 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 1/2 inches . This will make a great addition to your collection. Shipping to US addresses will be $1.21.
