Small Cabinet. we have a great looking thunder egg from volcanic tuffs in the Thomas Range (famous for the great topaz crystals found t What makes these thunder eggs really 'special' is that they will fluoresce a nice green color under short wave Ultraviolet light (see photo 2). The material filling the void is made up of a combination of quartz, chalcedony and opal. Specimen Dimensions Specimen size categories for each specimen are listed with the specimen description.
