You are bidding on a WW II Flying Tigers, original CBI type 3 blood chit. The type 3 had the statement "I am an American Aviator, my aircraft was destroyed, I cannot speak your language. I am an enemy of the Japanese. Take me to the nearest allied military office, you will be rewarded."written in 5 languages, Chinese, Burmese, S. Shan, SGAW Karen, W. Shan. I know this is the real deal because it was my fathers who was a Tiger Bombadier. He flew over the Hump in WW II. This type 3 chit was produced in limited numbers. It has a ser. number printed on it but it is real light, it looks like 00951. It is on silk, with a cotton backing.It is in good condition. This is a great piece of our history, and a symbol of our fighting men and womens courage in strange lands. I have dad's A-1 jacket that has one on it and one other, this was an extra.
