Twelve images of this lot of six Folio Society books are shown below; two images of each book are shown in the order in which the books are described. They are published in London and are in overall solid Very Good condition. The first four are Folio Society first editions; the other two are second printings. Four have the slipcase present; the two without a slipcase were published before the Folio Society issued slipcases with their books. Five books have a former owner's bookplate (some of which are glue-darkened) on a blank preliminary page. Each book is generously illustrated. The books are: Travels with a Donkey, by Robert Louis Stevenson, 1967. The book and slipcase are both is solid Near Fine condition; the binding is fully-illustrated......The second book is: Memoirs of Madame Du Barry, by Pidansat de Mairobert, 1956. There are six, full-page, erotic illustrations by Sir Russell Flint; they are in solid Fine condition, and they are blank on the reverse......The third book is: The Expedition of Humphrey Clinker, by Tobias Smollett, 1955.
