The Pickwick Papers The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club by Charles Dickens Introduction by A. N. Wilson with original illustrations by R. Seymour, R.W. Buss and "Phiz" Folio Society (London, 2004) Bound in quarter burgundy leather, with a gold lettered title on a black ground in a period style; cloth covers with a 19th C border. The slipcase is burgundy. Over forty b/w engravings by "Phiz" and the other two period illustrators. Gilded page tops, and a ribbon page marker. The binding is clean and tight. The slipcase is square and strong--no marks or dents. A Dickens classic (798 pages).
