This is the Folio Society volume The Thirty Years War by C. V. Wedgwood with an Introduction by Roy Strong. It was published in 2001, a second printing. It is bound in cloth with a slipcase. The cover has a picture imprinted on the front, spine and back. It is richly illustrated. The volume has no bookplates or other markings inside or out. The book is tight and has no noticeable sunning or rubbing. The book has no tears, scratches, stains or bumps. The slipcase is dark brown ( the pictures show it quite a bit lighter than it really is). . The slipcase has a bump on one edge and has some rub marks on the corners. They are not as noticeable as the picture makes out. The slipcase has no tears or stains and no noticeable sunning. Non-smoking household. I am a retired judge selling my library. The approximate dimensions are 10 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 2 1/4".
