The Dark Prince
18" Tall The Dark Prince is an original, hand-crafted work of art by Dylan & Jo. me The Dark Prince is signed and dated by the artists-- Dylan & Jo. Like each of our creations, The Dark Prince is entirely hand painted. His body is made from muslin that has been painted and sanded and painted and sanded again. This gives the fabric a wonderfully rich patina that feels kinda like old leather. His arms and legs are jointed, and his elbows are attached to his wings, giving him a stately pose. His head is made of paper mache clay. Each of our paper mache creations is entirely hand sculpted, using no molds. Each one is a unique, one-of-a-kind sculpture that is entirely hand painted. His wings are made of quilted muslin that has undergone a similar painting and sanding process. He comes ready to hang by a small loop on the back. We are a mom and dad business, a two person company of artists. We make the kind of art we'd hang on our walls, then we open our doors to you. We call ourselves Cart Before The Horse because we're always getting ahead of ourselves. All of our creations are made one at a time. They're all one-of-a-kind. We make them with our own hands, since these are the only hands we have. Join Our Mailing List! We are organizing a mailing list to be sent out every Sunday after our auctions are listed.
