Up for bid is a FOLK ART HANDCRAFTED IRON GOAT, WHALE TAIL, STAR, NUMBER EIGHT, AND WHEEL WEATHERVANE, HANGER, or whatever you want to use it for. I just love this unique item! It measures 24 inches long, 11 1/2 inches from the top of the goat's head to the bottom of the pole. The design is just beautiful on this and you can tell that it is wonderfully crafted. I looked up what I thought to be the symbols this presented. I maybe wrong, but here is what I found: The goat is a symbol of victory. The whale's tail is the symbol of good luck, speed, and strength. At one end, there looked to be a number 8. This is the symbol of balance and perfection. The other end looked to be an eight pointed star. This is the symbol of balance, harmony, and cosmic order. It looked like the goat was on a wheel (to me) and this is a symbol of progress. You could set this in a garden, on top of a roof, even on top of a country cupboard. You can bet that it will be a conversation piece!
