This northwoods Santa Claus doll has been designed and made by me. He has been created from new and vintage fabrics. Santa has a weaver's cloth face with painted eyes and natural sheep's wool hair and brows. His unique beard and moustache have been made from a felted cream-colored, Irish wool sweater. I just love the different texture the pattern creates. Santa's long coat is made from an old Indian patterned pillow sham. he has red homespun arms and torso, and he wears red striped flannel pants. Santa's boots are painted black. He carries a hand-made tree with a cinnamon stick trunk, and he has a sack that I sewed from a vintage quilt scrap in brown and yellow, tied with twine. Santa measures 23 1/2" tall. His tree is 9 1/2" high, and his quilted bag is 7" wide by 7" high. He comes signed and dated from my smoke-free home. Thanks so much for looking. Please see my other holiday items up for auction. I am very proud to belong to the eBay group PFATT,or Primitive Folk Art Tea and Talk. We are a group of female artists devoted to bringing you the finest in artwork and customer service.
