This is a very nice figure by Fontanini. Santa Claus, with his hat clasped in his hands, is kneeling in front of the baby Jesus in his manger. Santa has an expression of reverence on his face, and the baby Jesus is smiling up at him with his hands spread outward in a welcoming gesture. The figurine is unique and touching because it represents both the folkloric and religious symbols of Christmas. The figure is 3" high by 3 1/4" wide. It is made of polymer and has the number 598 on the base. It was made in Italy in 1984. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! ...It has only been on display and needs a home. ......
