In 1909, the Lafayette High School (Buffalo, NY) Football squad posed for a formal picture. Here are 14 handsome young men with slicked hair, in their uniforms (knee pants, high socks, turtle necks) and letterman sweaters, gather around their trophy. Plus two boys in suits (the managers). The youngster in the center front holds a football. Lafayette 1909 is painted over the ball. Mounted on board and framed in black moulding. No glass. Pictures measures 16-1/2 x 11-3/4 inches. Framed dimensions: 24-1/2 x 20-1/4 Good-Very Good condition. No damage to picture except some darkening from years of dust and dirt (The photo needs to be cleaned). The border has some foxing as shown in photo. The frame is in good condition. There is some damage to this original frame. Photo taken in Buffalo, New York.
