Up for auction is this superb UT 1/18 scale model Ford Escort Cosworth 1994 Monte Carlo Rally winner. A lengendary car manned and guided to victory by Daniel Grataloup and Francois Delecour. This model is truly superb with excellent attention to detail. The decals are excellent, it has opening doors and has nice interior detail including Recaro seats and rollcage. It has OZ alloys wrapped in real rubber Michelin pilot tyres. The wheels do rotate and there is a bit of turn on the front wheels. The car is livered as it was back in 1994 and wears its original number plate of L730 ONO. The model is in as new condition and has been on display in a dust proof case since I purchased it a few years ago. I have added a picture of my display case to give you an idea of how well kept and cared for the model has been. PLEASE NOTE THE DISPLAY CASE DOES NOT FORM PART OF THIS AUCTION AND IS PICTURED FOR VIEWING PURPOSES ONLY. Somewhere along the line the lamp pod on the bonnet has been re-cemented on and there is a slight residue of cement on the lamp pod but nothing to spoil looks or condition of model. The original box it came in is in good condition and model has now been screwed back onto the mounting plinth. The ariel has been selotaped to the underside of the plinth and model is ready to ship.
