This card is in mint condition. This is a very rare piece with very few authentic autographs existing today. This was one of the premier cards that individuals could pull from the 2001 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts product. There is only 21 in existence. I have not seen any of the others previously. MLB Career Bio: Ford Christopher Frick (December 19, 1894 – April 8, 1978) was an American sportswriter and executive who served aspresident of the National League from 1934 to 1951 and as the third Commissioner of Major League Baseball from 1951 to 1965. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970. Besides Frick's election to the Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee in 1970, the Hall created the Ford C. Frick Award in 1978, and presents the award annually to a baseball broadcaster for major contributions to the game.
