Offered without reserve is a Whatisit? tool from the estate of an old time mechanic. This was on a shelf in his garage where he repaired vintage cars in a small town.I have no idea just what this tool was used for but I suspect that it was used to leak test pressure in the engine? or is it something to do with tires? it has me stumped!It has a brass tire / schrader valve on the top, the top also has a removable cap / plug, the sides step in size from approx. 1 1/4" at the bottom up to 2 1/4" at the top. It is made from cast iron, it has a quality look and feel and it appears to be quite old, I suspect that it would date back into the early 1900's Model T or A era, It is interesting to look at and it may come in handy! hopefully someone can put it to good use!..........................No Reserve!, have fun bidding!..................
