Up for auction is one set of 16 Ford Truck commemorative coins. These coins were produced to commemorate the History of Ford Motor Company's Norfolk Assembly Plant. The coins depict all the truck models built from 1925 to 2007, beginning with the 1925 Model T pick-up & ends with the 2008 model F-150. The coins are all in color, embosed on both sides with the vehicle on front & the outline of Virginia w/ the Ford & UAW logos on the rear. The coins are made of what looks to be bronze (unsure) and are very high quality. Only 1500 of these sets were made and were ONLY GIVEN TO FORD EMPLOYEES when the plant shut down, never released or produced for outside sale.
