Although it has a few minor nicks at the corners, this case is spectacular. The veneer is almost like new with no sections loose or missing. The lower right side has some paint splatter. See photos. This clock has its original upper and lower glass panels, full label and original dial. The full label is topped by an eagle with the heading "The Union..Now and Forever." and includes the Calhoun Printing Co., Hartford, CONN. The 30 hour movement is unsigned and has been cleaned. It strikes a gong on the hour only. The alarm strikes a bell.
