The best way to evaluate the condition, the size, etc., is to look at the pictures, but I will give a good description when necessary. This Fort Dearborn medal is circa 1965. I know this because that's when my dad was in the scouts and it was his. It could be from 1963 to possibly 1968, but in that era.The box had this old foam backing that got corroded so I had to throw it away, so you might see a little bit of the foam stuck on the pin. It comes right off. The medal has a patina and the ribbon has only minor soil. I think this is a nice piece an old piece of Chicago piece.Exactly as pictured and described.
