This is a wonderful rare Fostoria Coin Glass Emerald Green Large Compote (comport) with a lid made by Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia during 1958-1982. The original Fostoria production number is 1372/212. The compote is 8-5/8 inches wide and about 10-1/4 inches tall with lid. The compote has a brilliant sparkling green color and has coins all around on colonial panels. The compote is in mint condition except for a tiny fleabite or manufacturing flaw on the frosted coin finial on the lid. You cannot see it without a magnifying glass. I took a highly magnified picture and it is on the 10 o'clock position of the coin. It was difficult to photo but you can see it in the photo if you look hard. T are no other chips, cracks or repairs. It looks unused. Email me with any questions.
