This is an American CLEAR Fostoria Cookie Jar LID ONLY. It is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and is approximately 4 inches from the top of the knob handle to the bottom of the lid. Fostoria originally began producing high quality glass in the late 1800s and operated in Moundsville, West Virginia for many years. In the 1980s, Fostoria was purchased by Lancaster Colony Glass Co. and operated in Ohio for several years. It is no longer made and becomes harder to find and is more valuable every day!!! Don't miss out on this opportunity to add to your collection!!! The American pattern was designed by Philip Ebeling and patented in 1915. This was one of Fostoria's most popular selling patterns for over 67 years. Each piece is descibed as having a heavy pressed glassline featuring a prismatic cube design that rests atop a multi-faceted, smooth stem and base. The light radiates from these prisms. This lid is in excellent condition. It has never been used or displayed and came straight from factory storage. It does have a slight small mark in the glass on the knob. This is not noticeable and can only been seen upon very close inspection. I could not even get it to show up in picture... I will be glad to combine shipping on all auctions ending within a period of 5 days. Please wait for one invoice to be sent with accurate shipping charges before paying. Buyer is responsible for shipping, insurance and delivery confirmation. I will ship worldwide, however, buyer is responsible for any tariffs or duty taxes if applicable.
