Up for bid is a pair of 9 inches high Copper Blue Sandwich Candlesticks made by Fostoria for the Henry Ford Museum 1965 to 1971. These candlesticks are hard to find because most are tucked away in someones collection. The brilliant blue color is hard to capture in a photograph you just got to see it with the naked eye. Each stick is marked HFM in the glass and t is a gold seal on the bottom that says HFM. This is the first time I ever found the gold seal intact because after you wash them I guess the seal is gone. Fostoria tried to capture the beauty of vintage sandwich glass for the Museum as an example of sandwich glass making in the olden times because that was what the Henry Ford museum was all about. Add this hard to find pair of Fostoria Candlesticks to you collection they are in mint condition and have no defects.
