we have a beautiful Fostoria center handled tray with the rare Oakwood Brocade design in excellent condition. The shape is #2342 which is listed in old Fostoria catalogs as a 12" lunch tray. It has 8 sides with a fleur-de-lis handle in the center and measures 11.5" from side to side. The Oakwood Brocade etching #72 is the same as the Oak Leaf etching #290 but with iridescence. The base color is Orchid, a light amethyst color which was made by Fostoria for only a few years, from 1927-1930. T are no chips, cracks or stains and while most of the gold trim is intact, a bit has been rubbed off, mainly at the corners. Very nice!
