Offered for auction is a group of glassware in three different sizes of the elegant Fostoria Vernon (etch #277) pattern in the orchid color. These were originally manufactured in 1927. T are three 5-3/8" footed tumblers, two 5-1/2" cocktails and two 6-1/8" champagnes (or tall sherbets). That's a total of SEVEN pieces all for one price! T is a fleabite or small chip on the rim of each tumbler and champagne. One tumbler foot has a small chip. T are no chips on the cocktails. Repairs are possible if you choose, or just put these on display. They still show beautifully! Be sure to check out my other Vernon glassware and etched glassware auctions! Thanx for looking and Good Luck! The winning bidder is responsible for shipping and insurance. I will gladly combine shipping in the event you win multiple auctions within a day or two of each other. I do add $1-$2 to cover shipping materials (typically bubble wrap and/or Styrofoam peanuts to ensure safe arrival). Being honest with myself, I'm more of a collector than a dealer, and as such I appreciate well packaged glassware when I receive it. INSURANCE IS REQUIRED! I cannot be held responsible for damage incurred during shipping, and I want you and I protected. Though I take great care to package all items well, I have no control over how the items are handled during shipping. In the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to follow up with the insurance claim process with the post office. Be sure to take ALL original packaging and the original box to the post office. The insurance money will be paid directly to the buyer. ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL. I will refund the bid price only if an item was inaccurately described. I endeavor to provide the best possible description of all items I offer for bidding. Any evident damage or imperfection that is not a characteristic of the manufacturing process will be noted. Antique and vintage items have the subtle variances and nuances of their age and manufacture; after all, they aren't brand new. Manufacturing flaws such as pin heads, color variations, straw marks, bubbles, crazing and other manufacturing anomalies are considered normal for glass, china and pottery of this age and WILL NOT constitute reason for return. It is VERY important to ask any questions PRIOR to bidding. PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN 7 DAYS. I accept money orders, cashier's checks and personal checks. NO Paypal. Adequate time must be allowed for personal checks to clear. Unfortunately, the governor of Maryland insists that I also collect 5% in taxes from residents of our beautiful Free State . Your bid is a contract. IF YOU'RE NOT A SERIOUS BIDDER, PLEASE PLAY ELSEW PLEASE NOTE: Spam filters may block email correspondence. If winning bidder does not hear from me within 24 hours of an auction's close, please check your spam block folder, or feel free to contact me. FEEDBACK RATINGS are something I take very seriously. A good transaction warrants positive feedback for both parties. Rest assured that I will do my part. I reserve the right to negate bids from persons with excessive negative feedback. One last note; when you buy glass from me it comes to you ready for display, or for proud presentation as a distinctive gift. It is CLEAN. It is packaged by me usually while wearing white cloth gloves. It comes to you from a smoke-free home. On the rare occasion that I receive glassware that meets this description I appreciate it. I hope you will too.
