Just metal detected this great tag in Macon,Ga.!!! {private land} This is a hack badge or tag which was a horse drawn taxi in this period. {1907 2 Horse} No. 9. I have been fortunate enough to have found a couple of these type tags before, BUT not one like this! Has been cleaned enough to show enbossing. Made of nickle plated brass & measures 2 3/4 in. across & is 1 7/8 in. high. Dug in condition as seen. Great piece for the ''hack'' badge collector!! *LOW RESERVE!!!
