The third letter is a cover letter with payment from Tips, Clemens & Faust, merchants in New Braunfels, a German settlement in south central Texas, dated 25 May 1876. The fourth is a letter from C. Metz & Bro., Sherman, Texas to Sharps questioning a charge on an invoice: you charged us 3.00 less 10% think you must surely made mistake...as we can buy them here at hard ware stores at 2.50 by the 100, dated 12 Nov. 1877.
