Four Battersea Pewter Picture Buttons. Two buttons measure approx. 1 7/8 ".Pictured what looks like to me is a man painting the moon. Two small buttons measure 5/8 ".These have a design on them. Back reads : Batteresea Ltd. 1976. The Battersea Button Co. produced buttons for the retail market from 1976 thru 1980 as a division of Bergamont Brass Works Inc.under the direction of artist Daniel Buahman. Battersea buttons have become highly collectible due to their limited availability and because each and every button is a wonderful little treasure. Very nice addition to a collection.
