This key Golden Age Four Color issue was published more than a half-century ago and features the landmark first appearance of Uncle Scrooge in the highly acclaimed holiday story, "Christmas on Bear Mountain," by artist extraordinaire and legendary Carl Barks. Donald and his nephews Huey , Dewey and Louie also appear in this memorable tale that introduced "Scrooge" to the world. A second great adventure features Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Doc and Grumpy of the Seven Dwarfs, Santa Claus, Dumbo, and Willie the Giant in "Santa Clause Land." Comic has spine and staple stress lines, edge chafing, pencil mark on top left cover, and a relatively neat half-inch tear through the top edge of the cover and inner pages. Book is overall in vg/fine condition and is an above average desirable copy that has been handled with some care.
