Here are four issues of "The Territorial Topic." Published by H.T. Miller in Purcell, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, the full sized newspapers are each15.5 by 22 inches and have 8 pages. The dates included are Dec. 17, 1891; Nov. 26, 1891; Dec. 10, 1891, and March 31, 1892.All the issues are very fragile and show tears and some bits of paper loss. None of the issues have been trimmed so pages 1-2 and 7-8 are connected at the top.Details: Dec. 17, 1891: Has a lengthy article on definition of an Indian territory. The issue is torn nearly in half at the main fold. Nov. 26, 1891: Many short articles on occurrences within the region. Fragile but in better overall condition. Dec. 10, 1891: Many articles on general news in the territory. Fragile but in better condition. March 31, 1892: Early article on possible formation of a state embracing much of the territory.
