Up for auction are two lovely dark pink or red and white toile soup bowls by English Ironstone Tableware, Ltd., Staffordshire, England. The pattern is called FOUR SEASONS , but is commonly referred to as 'On The Home Farm' because of the caption printed on each piece. These bowls carry the title SPRING ON THE HOME FARM and show a horse drawn cart and a man riding a second horse while leading a third. In the background stands a steeple in a small town. The images are surrounded by a trim of scrolls, acorns, berries and wildflowers. The bowls measure 8 3/4 inches in diameter, shows no wear and are free from chips, dings, cracks and crazing. They both carry the impressed mark 'ENGLISH IRONSTONE ENGLAND' as shown. Please be assured that I will pack these bowls well in tissue paper and bubble wrap to make sure that they arrive in your home in the same condition as they were sent out. I have lived in Germany and been scouring the flea markets for over 30 years. I have been mailing packages internationally for longer than that.
