Here are four Transacord cassettes with an overseas flavour featuring Peter Handford's recordings of steam in action in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. These were bought from ASV (Academy Sound & Vision) when they deleted the tapes from their catalogue in the mid-1990s. The tapes are new and unplayed. The tapes have been stored carefully since purchase. Details of the recordings are as follows:ATR7007 STEAM THROUGH ALL SEASONS - LMS, LNER, GWR, West German, Romanian and Italian steam at work in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter over the period 1959 to 1973. Locations include Steele Road, Stobs, Bromsgrove, Princes Risborough, Llanvihangel, Neuenmarkt Wirsberg, Knucklas, Barkston Junction, Valdaora-Anterselva and Medgidia.
