Fowler's “Magnum” Long Scale Calculator in Leather Case Pre Owned This calculator looks to be in very good cosmetic condition. The rule is marked “Fowler's Long Scale Calculator Magnum” and Patent and Fowler & Co. in Manchester. Made in the 1930's Designed for engineers, draughtsman and science student with several advantages over straight slide rules. The calculator consists of two dials and two rotating knobs. These dials are synchronized with a rotating radial hairline cursor to solve problems with cubes, powers, roots, Log, Sin, Cos, Tan as well as routine arithmetic. Comes with original instruction book and dark brown leather case with dark red felt interior Please see pictures for details.
