US Fractional Currency 3rd FR# 1255 ANOTHER GREAT ITEM FOR SALE! Won't see many of these. 3rd series of the US Fractional Currency issued between December 5, 1864 to May August 16th 1869. These notes circulated during the American Civil War and shortly tafter. This note has a black printing with green surcharges on the obverse with Bust of George Washington in the center and green printing of the 10 Ct. denomination. Reference FR# 1255 KL# 3262. Condition Fine. Additional information. No pinholes, old center and corner folds (not unusual) possible paper split in the center, centering is wide on three sides. 3 sharp corners, average coloring.
