Totally unique and spectacular heavyweight ceramic plaque in glazed frame in oak approx 18 inches x 15 inches and 2 inches deep with sturdy mounting chain to rear whcih depicts the North Staffordshire Regimental badge finished in gold & silver paint surrounded by the signatures of 21 Officers of the Battalion each with rank identified from Lt Colonel down to Lt. Copper plate state "1st Staffs (S. on T) Bn Home Guard" No doubt that this hung proudly in Bn HQ or the Officers Mess perhaps - an amazing piece of local history from WW2 and the real "Dads Army" and worthy of further research.
